Students of Acharya’s NRV School of Architecture (Semester IV) visited Melukote Village as part of their Architecture Design Studio. Engaging with locals, they gained insights into
rural life and traditional architecture. Back in the studio, they are now working on documenting the village’s architectural essence.
As part of their syllabus, students explored the importance and functioning of Water and Sewage Treatment Plants through a creative model-making activity. Using recycled materials like
bottles, boxes, and straws, they built working models, reinforcing sustainability and practical learning while deepening their understanding of these essential systems.
