Acharya Institutes Scholarship

At Acharya, we believe in providing deserving students with financial aid so that they have access to quality education that they may not have access to otherwise. The Acharya Scholarship program supports over 1400 students every year, as we continue to provide a more inclusive and enriched learning environment for both domestic and international students. Our scholarship program is a testament to our commitment to nurturing talent and investing in the future leaders of tomorrow.

Scholarships for CET Students

Acharya has announced two categories of scholarships for CET meritorious students.

Category 1: 100% tuition fee waiver, Kindly refer to the table below for details.

Category 2: Students who are from the financially backward category (EWS/BPL) and secure a rank less than 5000 in CET will get complete education at zero fee with additional benefits like:

  • Free hostel and food on a multiple sharing basis
  • Stipend of Rs. 2500 per month
  • Any programme of choice in AIT or architecture (allotted by CET)
  • Scholarships are extended to all years of the programme with the condition that students maintain merit scores of not less than 75% and attendance of 85% in all semesters.
  • Total number of scholarships to be awarded: 10

Eligibility for a Scholarship

  • Applicable to students of Karnataka only.
  • Should be from an EWS or BPL family (relevant documents to be submitted).
  • Should have secured a rank less than 5000 in CET (2024).
  • Applicable to only one merit student per family.

Domestic Scholarships

Academic Excellence: Scholarships are available for students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements.

Sports: Athletes at the state, national, or international level can access our scholarship program, acknowledging their prowess in sports.

NCC: NCC participants with state, national, or international-level representation are eligible for scholarships.

Cultural: Scholarships are extended to students showcasing cultural talents at the state, national, or international levels.

Children of Farmers: To provide support and foster educational endeavors within agricultural communities, Acharya has made scholarships available for students who are children of farmers.

Single Parent: Recognizing the challenges faced by single parents, we have ensured that children from such households have access to scholarships.

Children of Teachers: Scholarships are dedicated to students who are children of teachers.

Defense Personnel / Armed Forces: Children of defense personnel or armed forces members can avail scholarships.

BPL Card Holders: Scholarships are provided for students from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their access to quality education.

Alumni: Alumni of Acharya can benefit from scholarships, fostering a sense of continuity and rewarding their commitment to their alma mater.

Physically Challenged: Scholarships are available for students with physical challenges, aiming to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Siblings: Siblings of current students or alumni can access scholarships, fostering a sense of family continuity within the academic community.

Children of Acharya Employees: Scholarships are extended to children of Acharya employees.

International Scholarships

Acharya extend scholarship opportunities tailored for international students, acknowledging and celebrating their academic merit and exceptional sporting achievements among other factors. These scholarships aim to foster a diverse and inclusive academic environment, encouraging global talents to pursue and excel in their educational pursuits at Acharya.

Children of Farmers: Acharya offers scholarships to students who are children of farmers.

NRI Scholarships

Acharya Entrance Test (AET) For Meriti & Scholarship Based Admissions

NRI candidates who wish to secure admission to Acharya have a unique opportunity to earn scholarships through the Acharya Entrance Test (AET), which assesses students' knowledge in subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Management, and Arts and Commerce. Scholarships will be awarded based on students' performance.

Scholarships will be awarded based on the student's performance in the entrance examination. A cut-off score will be decided based on the exam results. The scholarship percentage (e.g., 25%, 50%, 75%) will be based on how well the student performs compared to the cut-off and top-performing students. Only a limited number of scholarships seats are available.

The test is online and students can conveniently schedule their slots.
