Mr. Iqbal Ahmed represented Acharya Institutes at the conference, discussing globalization of education, technology, and quality assurance. He met with representatives from Avila
University, Central Michigan University, Iowa State University, On Campus, Flywire, and The University of Toledo, inviting them to our campus and exploring faculty exchange,
articulation programs, global immersion/summer abroad programs, and formalizing relationships through MOUs.
55 students from our college visited Mysuru Central Prison, exploring various sections including women prisoners, healthcare, kitchen, and vocational training areas. This visit,
organized by our Criminology & Forensic Science Department at AIGS, provided valuable insights into prison life and rehabilitation efforts.
On May 17, 2024, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, the ANR Auditorium in Bengaluru hosted a Blood Donation Camp in association with Bangalore Medical Services Trust. The event, graced by Chief
Guest Prof. Devi Nanjappan, Principal of Smt. Nagarathnamma College of Nursing, served as a beacon of hope and solidarity, uniting individuals from diverse backgrounds to support a
common cause.
On May 16, 2024, from 10:30 am to 01:00 pm, a special event themed "Our Nurses, Our Future: The Economic Power of Care" was held at the ANR Auditorium. The Chief Guest was Dr. C R
Rajendra, Former Director and Head of BIS. This celebration of International Nurses Day, observed globally on May 12, marks the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. INC
commemorates this day annually by producing and distributing International Nurses Day (IND) resources and evidence.
The AAA Trust aims to establish an endowment fund to assist deserving students, provide sponsorship for sports, and foster the formation of local and international chapters, alongside
existing chapters in the US, Tanzania, and Bangalore. The alumni meet attracted a significant turnout, featuring contributions from alumni entrepreneurs and professionals. With over
110 attendees spanning various departments, the event included cultural performances by students, including Sherlin and Group from ADFT's 2nd semester and Prathik T from AR's 2nd
semester, concluding with a vote of thanks by Mr. Sharath, an alumnus from the MC Department.
Bengaluru City University Intercollegiate Softball Tournament witnessed Acharya IGS men's team clinching the title, while the women's team secured the runner-up position. Hosted by St.
Francis College, Koramangala.
AIAHS students and faculty kicked off World Health Day with an awareness walk from the AIAHS block to the Main Auditorium. The event highlighted career opportunities, scope, and future
trends in the healthcare industry for students of Allied Health Sciences. Cultural activities motivated students to showcase their creativity and skills through engaging performances.
Acharya's NR Institute of Physiotherapy hosted a practical workshop on modern methods for Parkinson's disease assessment and management. The event began with an inaugural ceremony in
the Electrotherapy Lab, welcoming guests with saplings. Participants were introduced to Parkinson's disease and its clinical features. The hands-on session provided students with
valuable experience in gait training, balance exercises, and BIG exercises. Attendees gained proficiency and insight into evidence-based strategies for diagnosing and treating
Parkinson's disease.
A group of faculty and students from Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy visited the Educesta Institute of Management and Research (EIMR) in Basavangudi, Bengaluru, to experience
life as an entrepreneur. After a two-hour journey, the team explored the facility and its entrepreneurship support services. Students participated in a motivational session and group
activities, selecting domains to ideate on and propose solutions. Performances were evaluated, and feedback was gathered from all participants.
AIAHS celebrated Women's Day with a day-long event from 10 AM to 4 PM, featuring a lamp lighting ceremony and inspiring speeches by the Dean and Principal on gender equality and
empowerment. Ms. Muriel from MIT gave a warm welcome speech, while Ms. Deepika from BHA led an insightful talk on women's rights. Students performed a skit on gender equality, and
various competitions showcased participants' talents.
Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy organized an industrial visit to Anglo-French Drugs & Industries in Peenya, Bengaluru, on March 23, 2024. Forty-six third-year B Pharm students,
along with teacher coordinators, toured departments like research, development, manufacturing, and packaging, gaining firsthand insights into industrial workflow.
The Department of Criminology and Forensic Science organized a seminar on traffic management for student welfare. Hosted by Shakeena, the seminar featured six skilled traffic wardens
who presented on road safety and the importance of wearing helmets. Attendees learned about traffic control challenges, innovative technologies, and public education. Chief guests
included Mr. C V Muralidhara, Mr. Antony Devasy, Mrs. Deepa Rajan, Mr. Vinod Sreedharan, Mr. Brijesh Agarwal, and Dr. Prathibha K S.
The Acharya Bhutan Chapter Alumni Meet 2024, hosted by the International Relations Department, CPRD of Acharya, was a resounding success at the Gakyil Hotel in Thimphu, Bhutan on April

We were honored to host distinguished delegates from Ghana on March 21st, 2024. Among them were Mr. Conrad Nana Kojo Asiedu, First Secretary for Trade, Culture & Tourism, High
Commission Ghana, and Chief Nana Kumasah Krampah II, Divisional Omankrado of Gomoa Asempayin. The visit, facilitated by our International Relations Office, focused on exploring
collaboration opportunities and experiencing our institute's infrastructure. Guests engaged with our international student community, gaining valuable insights into their Acharya

academic opportunities. Highlights: We saw overwhelming engagement with 1365 registrations and nearly 900 active participants. This reflects a growing interest in international education, connecting
students with diverse learning prospects. Impactful Insights: The fair showcased a range of offerings, sparking excitement and inspiring students to pursue excellence worldwide. It was a beacon for exploring educational
pathways beyond borders.
