Hosted by Acharya and BM Reddy College of Pharmacy (ABMRCP), the International Conference on Advances in Pharmaceutical Practices (ICAPP) 2024 gathered experts, students, and professionals to discuss the future of healthcare. The event fostered insightful discussions on innovative pharmaceutical practices and bridged the gap between research and real-world applications, dedicated to advancing healthcare for a better tomorrow.

Acharya's NRV School of Architecture proudly announces that Aniruddha Govind Lokhande (Sem IX) received an honorable mention for his design "Abyssal Orb" in the Sonic Blueprint: Aural Architecture 2024 competition. The project transforms the chilling emotions of a horror audio track into an immersive architectural experience.

An orientation session for Pharmacy students introduced the Immersion Program for hands-on healthcare experience, Incubation opportunities to foster innovation with mentorship and resources, and Study Abroad options for global academic exposure, all aimed at enhancing their academic and professional growth.

Mr. Nayaz Ahmad from FTEE led a workshop on identifying target customers, focusing on essential marketing skills and understanding customer dynamics for business success. Additionally, Professor Pakkirappa provided insights on the role of MSMEs in the economy, available government schemes, and strategies for business development. Participants learned about business planning, sustainable growth, and the importance of networking. The session concluded with actionable steps for leveraging government support programs to enhance entrepreneurial success.

Smt. Nagarathnamma School & College of Nursing hosted Health Camp 2024, promoting the idea that healthy minds and bodies create the best Acharyans. The event offered valuable health screenings and wellness resources for students, fostering overall well-being.

The visit to SKAN Research Lab in Bangalore aimed to deepen our understanding of their programs, R&D activities, infrastructure, and achievements. The primary objective was to explore potential collaboration and consultancy opportunities, leveraging mutual strengths to enhance research output. Key discussion points included joint research on healthcare innovations, collaboration on clinical trials and animal lab facilities, shared use of infrastructure for advanced studies, and hosting collaborative webinars and guest lectures on healthcare topics.

Acharya campus recently celebrated Onam with a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The event featured a grand procession, a stunning 5 ft Pookalam (floral carpet), and a captivating Thiruvathira dance performed by over 300 dancers. The lively beats of Shinkarimelam added to the celebratory spirit. Students and faculty embraced traditional attire, contributing to a culturally rich experience. The celebrations were a tremendous success, showcasing the unity and vibrant spirit of the Acharya community.

The recent Physio Fair at Acharya campus featured poster presentations, a walkathon, and equipment displays. Ms. Amaryallis, a third-year BPT student, emceed the event. Students presented on low back pain causes and physiotherapy roles to faculty and peers from Acharya’s sister institutions. Judges Mrs. Nice Mathew, Ms. Prajna Rao, and Ms. Suruchi V. Rao evaluated the presentations, with prizes to be awarded at the fresher orientation. The event also raised awareness on preventing lower back pain, aligning with World PT Day.

Students and faculty from Acharya’s Department of Optometry visited Carl Zeiss India Pvt Ltd for an industrial tour. They gained firsthand insights into the transformation of raw materials into ophthalmic lenses and explored the latest innovations in ophthalmic instruments, bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry practice.

Acharya Institutes hosted the inaugural AICON’24 from, bringing together students for a Model United Nations (MUN) conference. This event allowed participants to develop diplomatic skills, engage in global discussions, and simulate UN proceedings, fostering critical thinking, public speaking, and negotiation abilities. AICON’24 went beyond debates, promoting collaboration, cultural exchange, and a deeper understanding of global diplomacy. The committees tackled complex global issues, leading to significant outcomes that reflect the dedication and impact of this remarkable conference.

The orientation program for international students focused on cultural adaptability and interpersonal skills. Through interactive discussions, students learned to navigate cultural differences and build meaningful relationships, fostering openness and collaboration for lasting connections.

Acharya Institute of Technology hosted an Internal Hackathon on September 2-3, 2024, where 39 teams tackled real-world challenges. A jury from Candela Technologies selected the top 30 teams to advance to the Smart India Hackathon 2024, highlighting our commitment to innovation and technical excellence.
