Bachelor of Visual Arts, affiliated to Bangalore City University, is a four-year degree program that covers topics such as animation principles, character design, animation VFX, animation films, game design, digital animation, graphic design, animation and multimedia design, etc. Acharya’s BVA in Animation and Game Art will teach you storytelling through the game and how to apply animation techniques to create and animate characters, textures, props, environments, and collision objects using 2D and 3D platforms. Our collaboration with Medhini ensures comprehensive exposure to AutoDesk software, enhancing students' proficiency in industry-standard tools.

Course Highlights

Students learn how to design characters, considering their appearance, personality, and role within the story or game.
Understand the principles of visual storytelling, including creating storyboards to plan
Scenes and sequences.
Training in digital art tools and techniques, which are essential for creating visual assets in both animation and game development.
Learning to create 3D models and animate them, a critical skill for both games and animated movies.
Traditional and digital 2D animation techniques, including frame-by-frame animation and motion graphics.

Program Overview

Duration : 4 Years
Eligibility : Pass in 10+2 / Higher Secondary (HS) / Pre University (PUC) / 'A' Level (with 12 years of schooling) or it's equivalent with English as one of the languages. Shall have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in core subjects. or 3 years Diploma recognized by Technical board.
