ACHARYA IPR

KSCST IPR CELL

Intellectual property protection, which includes patents, copyrights, trademarks, and more, is essential for fostering innovation and bolstering economic growth. It ensures that inventors, businesses, and creators are duly recognized and incentivized, driving further research and development.

At Acharya Institutes, extensive research is conducted by our staff, students, and researchers. The incubation center at Acharya Institutes has been a hub for numerous innovations eligible for protection under Intellectual Property Rights.

A dedicated Intellectual Property Rights Cell was established in 2016 in collaboration with the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) and the Visvesvaraya Trade Promotion Centre (VTPC). The cell contributes to the responsible and ethical management of intellectual property assets and facilitates IPR activities within the Acharya Institutes, particularly in patents. Acharya Institutes has made significant strides in the realm of innovation and intellectual property. We have proudly secured a total of 16 patents.
