On May 16, 2024, from 10:30 am to 01:00 pm, a special event themed "Our Nurses, Our Future: The Economic Power of Care" was held at the ANR Auditorium. The Chief Guest was Dr. C R Rajendra, Former Director and Head of BIS. This celebration of International Nurses Day, observed globally on May 12, marks the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. INC commemorates this day annually by producing and distributing International Nurses Day (IND) resources and evidence.

At RGUHS Best Body Physique & Powerlifting Single Zone, Mangalore, students from Smt. Nagarathnamma College of Nursing showcased remarkable achievements.
