CSUO Ayushika Thapa from Acharya NCC (05/09 Coy) has been honored with the Chief Minister's Commendation for her exceptional performance in Obstacle Training at the All India Thal Sainik Camp 2024. Acharya's NRV School of Architecture hosted A Training of Trainers Program (Jan 20–25, 2025) on VTU’s updated curriculum (2021-22), focusing on sustainable architecture amid the climate crisis. Faculty explored energy-efficient design, passive cooling, bioclimatic interventions, and urban heat stress mitigation through hands-on sessions and expert-led discussions.

Acharya’s talented theater team, featuring students from AIT and Architecture, won Best Technical Team at the prestigious National Micro Drama Festival, part of Bharath Ranga Mahotsava by the National School of Drama. Team EDM from Acharya Institute of Technology clinched victory at IISc Bangalore with their Small-Scale Wire EDM—a compact, cost-effective innovation redefining traditional EDM machines. Competing against top teams, they secured ₹12,500 from a ₹25,000 prize pool!

Our students actively participated in a week-long NSS Programme, making a meaningful impact in the community. The initiative included health check-ups, awareness sessions on hygiene and wellness, and visits to Anganwadi centers to engage with children and caregivers on nutrition and care. A detailed community survey further helped assess local health needs, making the program both insightful and impactful.

Acharya Institute of Technology joins hands with Tech Diva Foundation to promote women’s empowerment. Following a successful hackathon on National Girl Child’s Day, where 120 students showcased their talent, 10 were recognized, and one will receive five years of advanced training. Acharya further supports girl students from government schools with scholarships, tuition waivers, and free hostel accommodation for CET ranks below 5000.
