The Carbopol® Polymer Seminar for Oral Formulations was held on August 23, 2024, at The Oterra in Bangalore. Attendees included faculty from the Department of Pharmaceutics, such as Dr. Venkatesh D.P., Dr. Joysa Ruby J, and Mrs. Moumita Banerjee, along with M.Pharm students.
Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy's Women's Cell celebrated International Women's Equality Day 2024 with the theme "Reimagining Equality: Women’s Empowerment in the Digital Age." The event included discussions on bridging the digital gender gap, a keynote by Dr. Salma Khanam, and cultural performances, all highlighting the importance of digital inclusion and inspiring action for a more inclusive future.
A group of faculty and students from Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy visited the Educesta Institute of Management and Research (EIMR) in Basavangudi, Bengaluru, to experience life as an entrepreneur. After a two-hour journey, the team explored the facility and its entrepreneurship support services. Students participated in a motivational session and group activities, selecting domains to ideate on and propose solutions. Performances were evaluated, and feedback was gathered from all participants.
Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy organized an industrial visit to Anglo-French Drugs & Industries in Peenya, Bengaluru, on March 23, 2024. Forty-six third-year B Pharm students, along with teacher coordinators, toured departments like research, development, manufacturing, and packaging, gaining firsthand insights into industrial workflow.
Faculties of Department of Pharmacy Practice, Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy has participated in Two Day Faculty Enrichment Program For Pharmacy Practice Professionals at KLE College of Pharmacy, Belgavi (KLE University) on 23rd and 24th of February 2024.
Program Highlights: Hands on training on basic Medical Procedures, Clinical Skill laboratory & Bedside teaching Demonstration of various aspects like Pharmacovigilance Program of India, Managed Care Pharmacy & reconstitution of Cytotoxic drugs.
