Duration : 3 Years

Eligibility : Pass in SSLC / 10th / ’O’ Level from any recognised Board or Council with an aggregate of 35% in Maths and Science.

  • Apparel Design & Fabrication Technology students will contribute to the Apparel industry as Designer, Merchandiser, CAD Designers, CAD pattern makers, Textile designers, Knitwear, and Quality controllers

  • Analyze and create surface embellishment techniques/paintings/tie and dye techniques for Boutiques
  • Survey consumer groups; collect data, sourcing a new fabric, Trims, newline for creating new designs in fashion industries. Raw material availability and their sources to start small scale industries and to select the industrial method of production
  • Identify target consumers, study economic conditions, the standard of living, and Design the garments as per their need
  • Specify and design the styles for advanced garments, analyse and evaluate the methodology and create mass & high fashion garments
  • Select advanced industrial sewing machine, CAD software’s, Modern cutting techniques needed for modern methods of production. Specify and design
  • Commitment to the improvement of business and maintain high professional ethical standards
  • Work in a team using artistic endeavours and environment to achieve project objectives
  • Analyse modern management and communicate various apparel construction techniques to complete the project

Aeronautical Engineering covers the investigation into aerodynamic characteristics of aircrafts, including behaviors and related factors like airfoil, control surfaces, lift and drag. Along with Research, design and development of an aircraft.
Pass in 10+2 / Higher Secondary (HS) / Pre University (PUC) / 'A' Level (with 12 years of schooling) or its equivalent with English as one of the languages. Shall have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following : Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics. AIT admits students as per prevailing rules and regulations of VTU.
