Student Achievements

Acharya is proud to cater to students from diverse backgrounds, all of who have made their campus life an enriching one, thanks to the various activities the college offer. From engaging in various clubs spanning cultural, academic, and recreational interests to participating in a wide range of sports, students have ample opportunities for personal growth and community involvement. For instance, Acharya has more than 10 clubs, including music club, dance club, photography club and others, that provide students with necessary recreational avenues.

Acharya also stands as a beacon of excellence within the Karnataka and Goa Directorate of the NCC, consistently demonstrating its commitment to both the organization and the nation through the dynamic endeavors of its cadets. Our cadets have represented the Directorate at the esteemed Republic Day Parade held annually in New Delhi, and they have consistently brought home prestigious awards at various esteemed camps and competitions, including the TSC and IGC.

The sporting facility at Acharya is one of the best in the country. The institution’s 10,000-seater stadium, enhanced with state-of-the-art floodlights for optimal illumination, adds a touch of grandeur to sporting events hosted within its premises.

Events like 'Habba,' the annual three-day techno-cultural festival, showcase the talents and creativity of our student body.

The presence of an active alumni network fosters mentorship and career guidance, while the cafeteria, located in various focal points around the 120-acre campus, serves as a hub for socializing and relaxation. With comfortable hostel accommodations, state-of-the-art laboratories, a well-stocked library, and modern classrooms, Acharya students have access to resources that enhance their academic journey.

Kavana M Gowda (ISE) and Aleena Poulose (AE) selected to represent VTU in All India Inter-University Netball Championship at the University of Calicut, Kerala.

Bangalore City University releases provisional rank list for undergraduate courses, featuring top-ranking students from AIGS in various programs. As an NAAC A+ accredited institution, AIGS continues to excel in arts and science programs.

Bengaluru City University Intercollegiate Softball Tournament witnessed Acharya IGS men's team clinching the title, while the women's team secured the runner-up position. Hosted by St. Francis College, Koramangala.

Acharya Polytechnic's Mr. Bidan Arun secured gold and first place in the Asian Powerlifting Championship in Kyrgyzstan, hosted by the World Power Lifting Congress (WPC). He achieved a remarkable total lift of 437.5 kg across squat, bench, and deadlift categories. Congratulations to Mr. Arun on his outstanding performance!

Aniketh Hebbar, an 8th-semester AIML student from Acharya Institute of Technology, won the regional finals of the TCS TechBytes Engineering IT Quiz in Tumakuru, earning a ₹12,000 gift voucher. He secured 4th place at the state finals in Bengaluru, winning a ₹10,000 TCS Educational Scholarship. His achievements showcase his exceptional IT knowledge and bring pride to our institute.

Flexing our muscles and lifting our spirits as we gear up for the ultimate test of strength and determination - the body physique and power lifting competitions held by the RGUHS university at Mangalore. Our students Mr. Mohammed Asif ,Mr. Kevin Roney, Mr. Adithya G. Nair have put in hours of hard work and dedication to showcase their true potential on the stage. As we witness their passion and drive, we can't help but feel proud to be a part of this amazing journey towards fitness and excellence. This certificate is proudly presented to, Neeraj Tiwari (Team Code - VI23F6516) For securing 'Best Student Design Award' in the international architecture competition 'The Urban Insert - A Place Making Challenge At Gateway of India, Mumbai' hosted by Archmello Jury Jwalant Mahadevwala and black design studio.

The cultural team of Acharya -Utkarsh, emerged as the overall champions at the prestigious state-level theatre fest, Rangasourabha-24. The event spanning from February 1st to February 10th unfolded at the esteemed Ravindra Kalakshetra. Acharya clinched the overall winner trophy along with bagging several individual awards across different categories. The awards were presented by the esteemed personalities from the theatre industry.
