PHD IN PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES – PHARMACOLOGY

Our advanced doctoral-level program is designed for individuals who aspire to contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge in the pharmaceutical sector. The program places a strong emphasis on independent and original research on Pharmacology and Toxicology, which determine drug actions on the body.

Course Highlights

Research focusing on cell signaling, mechanisms, safety aspects, and adverse effects.
Students also study interactions between chemicals/drugs and living organisms.
Explore effects on normal or abnormal biochemical functions.
Students are often exposed to an interdisciplinary approach, integrating principles from chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, and other related fields
A significant portion of the program involves the completion of an original research project leading to the development and defense of a doctoral dissertation.

Program Overview

Duration : Full-time course is for a minimum period of 3 Years and for a part-time course is for a minimum period of 5 Years
Eligibility : Candidates with M.Pharm degree awarded by a College/University recognized by AICTE/PCI/RGUHS or a P.G. Degree in Pharmacy considered as equivalent by RGUHS, are eligible for enrollment for the PhD course in Pharmacy.
