About the Program

To celebrate Consumers Rights Day 2025, Smt. Nagarathnamma College of Nursing, in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Bangalore Branch, is organizing a Standards Club Activity on 26th March 2025 at the ANR Auditorium. The program aims to create awareness among nursing students about their rights as consumers and the significance of standards in ensuring product and service quality.

The event will feature an interactive session led by a BIS resource person on consumer rights and the role of BIS in protecting consumers. A speech competition on "Empowering Consumers through Standards" will also be conducted to encourage students to express their views and understanding on consumer protection.

This initiative will help students recognize the value of standardization in healthcare and other sectors, motivating them to be responsible consumers and professionals. The event will conclude with prize distribution and participation certificates.
