About the Program

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Special Camping Programme - 2025 is an initiative aimed at fostering community development and social responsibility among students and volunteers. Through a series of activities and awareness campaigns, the program seeks to promote health, hygiene, and sustainability in rural and underserved areas. This five-day camp will provide participants with a platform to engage in meaningful community service while gaining valuable experiences.

Special Camping forms an integral part of National Service Scheme. It has special appeal to the youth as it provides unique opportunities to the students for group living, collective experience sharing and constant interaction with community.

Objectives of the Program
  • To raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • To promote sustainable practices like tree plantation.
  • To educate school children on health and hygiene practices.
  • To provide basic health check-up services to the community.
  • To encourage active participation of students in community development initiatives.
