About the Program :

Objectives of the Program
  • To discuss how neuroimaging techniques like fMRI and EEG are applied in clinical settings for the assessment and management of chronic pain, and their potential for advancing personalized pain treatment strategies.
  • To provide an in-depth understanding of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and electroencephalography (EEG) as methods used in brain research, particularly in studying pain perception.
Expected Outcomes
  • Insights into altered brain networks in chronic pain.
  • Identification of potential neuroimaging biomarkers for diagnosing or predicting treatment responses in chronic pain conditions.
  • Combining fMRI and EEG data to develop robust biomarkers for pain.
