About the Program

The Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Pedagogy to Engage GEN-Z” equips educators with modern teaching strategies and digital tools to effectively engage today's tech-savvy learners. The FDP is designed for faculty members to focus on active learning, technology integration, academic documentations and innovative assessments to enhance student engagement.

Program Objectives

  • Explore the importance of Outcome Based Education (OBE) which provides a strong scaffold to enhance the quality of education system.
  • Understand the learning issues of GEN-Z generation like short attention span, continuous digital distractions, instant gratification and discipline.
  • Build the faculty calibre to create safe and orderly learning environment and maximize student engagement.
  • Understand and appreciate the importance of ICT for flexible and customised learning.
  • Know the importance and purpose of academic documentation for institutional excellence.
