About the Program

National Science Day is celebrated annually on February 28 to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman. This day highlights the importance of science in everyday life and encourages scientific curiosity and innovation among students to encourages students to embrace science and technology, recognizes contributions of Indian scientists to global advancements and inspires young minds to explore and experiment.

Objectives of the Program

  • Celebrate the discovery of the Raman Effect by C.V. Raman and its global impact on science.
  • Raise awareness about the role of science in everyday life and its contribution to societal progress.
  • Recognize the achievements of Indian scientists and inspire young minds to pursue careers in science and technology.
