About the Program

The Expert Talk on “Mathematical Modelling for Real-Life Applications” is organized to celebrate National Mathematics Day, honoring the birth anniversary of the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.

Srinivasa Ramanujan, an Indian mathematician whose contributions to the theory of numbers include pioneering discoveries of the properties of the partition function. His contributions stretch across mathematics fields, including complex analysis, number theory, infinite series, continued fraction, Riemann series, the elliptic integrals, the theory of divergent series, and the functional equations of the zeta function.
