Objectives of the Conference

Expected Outcome of the Conference

  • The participants will gain the necessary knowledge in the areas of X-ray diffraction, molecular docking, DFT, Physicochemical properties of Pharmaceutical solids, designing functional smart windows dosimetry in cancer therapy, solar cells, semiconducting nanostructures for sensors and catalytic dye degradation.
  • To develop new insights and to enlarge their research perspective and contribute to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in Physical and Chemical sciences.

About Department

The Physics and Chemistry Department was established in 2011 with Undergraduate Programme for B.Sc. Degree. Later on, in 2013 Post Graduate programme was started. In our vision and mission we tend to educate students with sound knowledge and offer training. The Department is recognized for diverse research under the areas of organic synthesis, organometallic, bioinorganic, green chemistry, catalysis, biochemistry, nano-composites, super capacitors, crystallography, charge transport and sensors. The Department has signed MoU with industries to engage staff and students in industry-academia training sessions, hands-on-training and internships to understand the industry requirements and practice recent techniques. The students and staff are involved in various curricular, co-curricular, extracurricular and extension activities.

Call for Papers

Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies invites you to associate with us for the FPCS 2024 Conference. This two-day International Conference will be held on 13th and 14th November 2024. The Conference is on crystallography, theoretical studies, pharmaceutical molecules, nano-materials design, catalysis, designing functional smart windows, energy systems, and their applications.

The Department of CHEMISTRY takes pleasure in inviting you to submit your abstract/full-length article of your original research paper (Oral/Poster) on any of the above themes.

The accepted full-length papers, after the double-blind peer review process, will be published in EAI CCER Conference Proceedings as per their norms with publication charges, additionally, per author/per paper.

Full-length articles/abstracts should not have been published/presented anywhere else, and plagiarism must be as per UGC norms. The Conference Proceedings (Summary of Abstracts) will be published with an ISBN-edited Book.

Note: The conference committee reserves the right to reject any paper that does not meet the submission guidelines.

Guidelines

Abstract Submission

The prospective authors are requested to submit a soft copy of an abstract that should be limited to 300 words, carrying sufficient information for fair assessment. The abstract should include the title, author's name (underline the presenting author), affiliation, contact number, and e-mail ID. The typed scripts shall be in MS-Times New Roman theme with 12 font size and 1.5 line spacing. References must include the author's name with initials (last), title of the paper, Journal/Book name, year, volume, and page numbers.

Full-Length Paper Submission

  • Originality: Original, unpublished research work not exceeding 5 or 8 pages, may be submitted.
  • Formats: The paper should include the title, author's name, institution address, mobile number, and e-mail address.
  • Paper Format: Single column, A4 size, and 1.5 line spacing.
  • Font Style: Times New Roman font with a heading in font size 14, and text in font size 12.
  • Page Limit: Not to exceed 10 pages, including all tables, figures, and references (APA guidelines for citation, documentation, and referencing must be followed).
  • Plagiarism: Not more than 10%.
