CRIMINOLOGY: Criminology is a discipline that studies the underlying causes of criminal behavior. It focuses on the causes and outcomes of criminal behavior and also delves into how society deals with criminal behavior. The course content is expanded across psychological, social and legal aspects of Criminology. It includes Forensic Science, Criminal law, Crime and Society, Theories of Crime, Victimology, etc. The curriculum of Acharya Institutes of Graduate Studies also includes Mock Crime Scenes for the practical understanding of concepts.

PSYCHOLOGY: Psychology is the study of human behavior, thoughts and experiences. Psychology also helps students to analyze criminal behaviors with an understanding of the decision-making process behind different actions. The course content includes Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Counseling, Organizational Psychology, etc. The discipline enhances the critical thinking abilities of students.

ENGLISH: English broadens students' linguistic and literary understanding. The subjects in the discipline enhance the understanding of various societal facets. Additionally, it improves students' speaking abilities and aids in developing their attention to detail. Indian, European, and non-European literature are all included in the training material. Duration : 3 Years

Eligibility : Pass in Pre-University / Higher Secondary / 10+2 / ‘A’ Level or equivalent of any recognized board or council in any discipline with English as one of the languages.
