Duration: 3 Years

Eligibility : Pass in SSLC / 10th / ’O’ Level from any recognised Board or Council with an aggregate of 35% in Maths and Science.

The program educational objectives of Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering can be broadly defined on four counts.

Program outcomes are narrower statements that describe what students are expected to know and be able to do by the time of graduation. These relate to the skills, knowledge and behavior. Graduation students of Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering program at Acharya Institute of Technology will attain the following program outcomes.

1. The Aeronautical Engineering program must demonstrate knowledge and hands-on competence in the application of aircraft design and development, structural analysis of aircraft, propulsion of aircraft and rocket engines, experimental and computational aerodynamics, control systems of aerospace equipment, sophisticated and structural integrity of aircraft both small and large.

2. The program must demonstrate knowledge and hands-on competence in the application of physics or chemistry to aircraft systems and structures and fluid interaction in a rigorous mathematical environment at or above the level of algebra and trigonometry.

3. The program must demonstrate that graduates can analyze, design, and implement Aerodynamics, Structures of aircrafts, control and communication Systems and/or propulsion systems, and maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircrafts in general.

4. The program must demonstrate that graduates can apply project management techniques to the varieties of projects and programs in aviation sector in the aircraft design and development, aircraft structure and its engine design and manufacturing.

5. The program must demonstrate that graduates can utilize statistics/probability, transform methods, discrete mathematics or applied differential equations in support of aircraft structure and systems and its large and small engine programs and maintenance and repair of both engines and many components of engines.
