Diploma in Automobile Engineering

Duration : 3 Years
Eligibility : Pass in SSLC / 10th / ’O’ Level from any recognised Board or Council with an aggregate of 35% in Maths and Science.

A diploma qualification in automobile engineering provides a sound grounding for further higher studies or worldwide employment opportunities in automobile industries, where the skill and knowledge of planning , designing , manufacturing and maintaince are concerned.
Particularly when india is poised to become one of the top 10 auto manufactures in the next 10 years, this programme offers immense career potential.

Automobile Engineering students at the time of graduation are:

a. Able to apply knowledge of science, mathematics and engineering technology to solve problems in the field of Automobile Engineering.
b. Able to design and build virtual and real models in Automobile Engineering.
c. Able to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems.
d. Able to use techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practices.
e. Able to demonstrate the knowledge, social health, safety, legal and cultural issues and its consequent responsibilities relevant to automobile engineering.
f. Able to understand professional, environmental and global responsibilities and demonstrate the knowledge and need for sustainable development.
g. Able to understand ethical standards and responsibilities of the automobile engineering practice.
h. Able to function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
i. Able to communicate effectively.
j. Able to recognize the importance of independent life-long learning in the context of technological changes.
